Pre-Speech Language Pathology

Did you know:ÌýSpeech-language pathologists identify, assess, and treat speech and language problems. Quick Facts: 5% to 10% of Americans may have communication disorders, costing the U.S. approximately $154–186 billion annually.

To become a speech language pathologist, a student must complete a master’s degree in this field. While ÇàÇà²Ýapp State does not offer a speech-language pathology Bachelor’s or Master’s, pre-health advisors can assist students in determining the most efficient route to pursue this career.

Additionally, ÇàÇà²Ýapp State University has partnered with . Interested students will complete two years of coursework at ÇàÇà²Ýapp State University and then apply to the Idaho State University Undergraduate Communication Sciences and Disorders degree with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology at the Meridian or Pocatello Campuses.
