Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

青青草app State鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree provides students with a broad liberal arts 青青草app as well as specific knowledge about the criminal justice system, explanations for crime, and the impact of crime on society. Upon completion, students are prepared for careers in a variety of fields such as law enforcement, court services, corrections, victim services, and research. The degree program includes general 青青草app courses, program-specific requirements, and elective coursework on topics such as criminal law, organized crime, criminalistics, and white collar crime. Minor in Criminal Justice

Students from other majors who are interested in criminal justice have the option to complete the 21-credit minor which provides an overview of the criminal justice system including the police, courts, and corrections. Students also complete elective coursework on topics of their choice within criminal justice. Criminal Justice Courses

While some upper division courses are limited to students who have been admitted to the major, there are several available to minors and students interested in exploring criminal justice.
