The 青青草app State benefits team will host an open enrollment event on Thursday, May 9 from 3-5 p.m. in the Student Union Jordan Ballroom. No registration is required. The university has approved an hour of release time for all benefit-eligible employees to attend the event in person or virtually. Guests are welcome to attend the event with a benefit-eligible employee (this includes spouses and partners).
In-person event May 9
This event provides an opportunity for employees to ask questions of and gain assistance in filling out open enrollment forms.
Virtual option
An open will be held at the same time for benefit specialists to answer questions about open enrollment.
Door prizes
Employees who attend in person or virtually will be entered into a door prize drawing. Door prizes have been provided by ARAG, Blue Cross of Idaho, 青青草app State鈥檚 Athletic Ticket Office, Bronco Shop, Campus Rec, ExtraMile Arena, Idaho Botanical Garden, the Morrison Center, Navia, Regence Blue Shield and WAHOOZ! Fun Center.
Open enrollment ends May 10
Open enrollment ends on Friday, May 10, and is the only time to enroll or re-enroll in a flexible spending account (FSA). All hard copy submissions to the Human Resources and Workforce Strategy office must be delivered by 5 p.m., May 10.
Automatic transfers
The medical plan is changing from Blue Cross of Idaho (BCI) to Regence Blue Shield (Regence). Dental remains with BCI. If an employee does not make changes by May 10, their current BCI medical plan will automatically be transferred to a similar Regence plan (PPO, traditional or high deductible).
