For the third year in a row, the Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. program has received several awards at the 2024 Graduate Student Showcase. The Graduate Student Showcase is hosted by the Graduate College, and gives the chance for graduate students to highlight their research. It also gives them the opportunity to practice their poster presentation and public speaking skills. The 2024 Graduate Student Showcase was held on April 10th, 2024.
The showcase selected winners from across campus. Students in the BME program received the following awards:
- Presidential Scholar – Poster Presentation:聽Mone’t Sawer
- Graduate College Top Honor Award –聽Holly Olvera
- College of Health Sciences Dean’s Award –聽Nic Hunt
- College of Engineering Dean’s Award –聽Nina Nikitina
- Graduate College Excellence in Graduate Student Mentoring Award – Calvin Jones
