Supply Chain Management BBA

  1. Identify improvement opportunities throughout the operations value stream (such reduction in operational waste, increased customer satisfaction) and develop and implement a plan for acting on these opportunities
  2. Apply process improvement techniques using the tools of quality management, statistical quality control, six-sigma, Lean manufacturing and theory of constraints
  3. Use spreadsheets, computer simulation and optimization software to develop decision ÇàÇà²Ýapp models pertaining to operations planning, materials management, scheduling, distribution decisions, and process flow analysis.
  4. Identify and apply the fundamental principles required to effectively manage both the inbound supply network and the outgoing distribution network in an environment that extends the supply chain beyond immediate (tier one) suppliers and customers.
  5. Plan, organize and manage projects using sound project management principles and industry best practices.
  6. Evaluate the impacts of SCM decisions on the supply chain function, the organization, the suppliers, customers and other constituencies consistent with a systems view of the organization and the environment.
