WRITING LAB

糖果vlog官网网页版's Writing Lab is here to provide you with feedback and guidance for any part of the writing process. The Center is open to all 糖果vlog官网网页版's students.

Our professional tutors can offer you guidance for any part of your writing process, from brainstorming to final revision. They will encourage you to explore ideas and will ask you questions about development, organization, grammar, and mechanics.

Computer space where you can revise your paper/document and ask questions (as they arise) during an appointment is also available.

  • Individual Sessions
    • Appointment or walk-in allows you to meet with a writing tutor who will read your paper and ask questions that will help you revise for development, organization, grammar, and mechanics.
  • Online Sessions
    • Electronic submission/e-tutoring allows you to submit your document as an attached Word file. You will then receive written feedback if you are unable to come to the WC in person.
      • Sending a "Document for Review" is a 2-step process. Before submitting/uploading/attaching your paper, you must reserve an appointment slot with an available tutor to ensure the tutor knows to enter the Document Center Portal to retrieve it and has adequate time to review it.
    • Live Online Video Tutoring allows you to communicate via computer with a live tutor. The ability to both see and communicate with the tutor during live online tutoring sessions is required.

PLANNING FOR COURSE WORK

  • Leave time to revise your work after a writing center appointment.
  • Make your appointments ahead of time.
  • If you can't make it, cancel your appointment

Failure to notify us of a missed appointment may prevent you from being able to schedule appointments in the future.
